What is Ubuntu and Kubuntu? ?
Hi, Ubuntu is a computer operating system based on the Linux kernel. Its goals include providing an up-to-date yet stable operating system for the average user with a strong focus on usability and ease of installation. Kubuntu is an official derivative of the Ubuntu Linux distribution using the KDE graphical environment instead of GNOME. It is part of the Ubuntu project and uses the same underlying system. Gnome is easy and simple to use as it’s much lighter whislt KDE has brilliant features, much more beautiful but it’s much heavier. As explained above, Kubuntu uses KDE and Ubuntu uses GNOME. So use Kubuntu if you want the look. If look doesn’t matter, use Ubuntu. Again, about installation or download, try the Apple Site to get help from them. Im sure the site’s been bookmarked in your Mac. Hope this has made up for the lazy answers I gave you yesterday.
