WHAT IS UAEDI’S ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE AND HOW DOES IT RELATE TO THE REST OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS?
UAEDI is led by a Director who reports directly to the Chancellor of the University of Arkansas. UAEDI is intended to be a streamlined, administratively “flat” and facilitating organization that builds strong relationships designed to easily bridge across UA’s administrative boundaries. Accordingly, all UAEDI activities relate to internal and external voluntary participation and partnerships involving the programs of UA faculty, staff, students and administrators, and a broad range of public and private entities. DEFINE “VOLUNTARY” PARTNERSHIPS AND GIVE EXAMPLES. A “voluntary” partnership is one where the participants agree to work together of their own accord in exchange for some current or expected personal or professional benefit based upon an “alignment” of interests.
