What is Two-Way Text Messaging?
Two-Way Text messaging allows you to CH@T by: Receiving short text messages (up to 140 characters) on your Digital Mobile Originating Capable phone from the following sources: • Digital Phone to Digital Phone – Receive short text messages on your Aliant Mobility Digital phone from another text enabled phone. • Email to Phone – When you activate your digital cell phone, Aliant Mobility will assign you an email address which includes your 10-digit phone number (i.e. 9021110000@wirefree.informe.ca). This will allow anyone to send an email message to your Two-Way Text enabled phone. • Internet to Phone – Send a text message from our website to your phone. • Cellular WireFree Web to Phone – Launch your Mobile Browser and access your POP email account (i.e. Sympatico) to create and send an email message to your phone. • PC Messaging Software to Phone – There are several PC messaging software packages in market that allow you to send short text messages to your digital phone.
