What is two-way speech?
Two-way speech refers to translation software running on one of the devices (above) that allows for a two-way (two-language) translation of speech. It usually employs an ASR for transcription, a MT for text translation, and a Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine for reading out the output text to be heard. The whole process happens in near real-time.
