What is Tutored eLearning?
Our online programmes are designed to be studied 100% independently but in some locations, in partnership with local education or training providers, we also offer “Tutored eLearning”. This Blended Learning approach combines all the online learning and assessment from UH with supplementary tutorial support and facilities from the partner institution. For many people there are advantages in studying part of the course within a local or familiar community, for example: • you can progress from previous study in the same institution, maintaining continuity • supplementary tuition can put the academic content into a local business context • weekly classes e.g. in the evenings or at weekends can provide a framework and discipline for your studies • a fast Internet connection can be helpful if you do not have broadband at home • studying as a class provides opportunity for mutual support within the group With Tutored eLearning the fees are determined locally by the partner.
