What is TurnStile?
A community needs space of its own – a private palce for its members. At the same time any “club” needs to allow controlled access for visitors, guests and potential customers. Some communities also have layers of membership. TurnStile satisfies these needs. TurnStile protected areas can be configured in numerous way to allow you to control access to resources: * • Visitors’ areas offer public access, but those entering have to be a member of the community or register a name and e-mail address with the community. This “Guest Book” registration is required only on their first visit. The visitor is recognised on future visits and a log of their visits stored. • Members log in only once (unless repeat log in is demanded) and will be recognised on future visits. Visits are again recorded. • Tiered members’ areas can be provided to allow different categories of visitor to obtain access to separate sub-areas of the members’ area.
