What is turn-based playing all about?
We have created an environment for turn-based play in order to facilitate people who enjoy playing classic board games, but who don’t necessarily want to invest a large amount of time each day playing. In our system, both players don’t have to be present at the same time to play. One player makes a move, the game is stored, and then the next player can make the next move the following day. By having the turns take place asynchronously, you don’t have to dedicate an entire afternoon to be able to play a simple game. Instead, each player is free to make only one move at a time, leave the game, and then come back later to make another move. For instance, if I’m playing a game of chess, and one move seems extra complicated, I can think about it as long as I want–even sleep on it–and then make the move when I’m ready.
