Phoenix is about 1700 ft above sea level and Tucson is about 2400 ft above sea level. However like Phoenix, They only get snow once in a blue moon. Both experence a no rain period usually from Late FEB to Late June Early July. Monsoon season starts from Late June to Early July and will last through Mid- september. In the Moonsoon it will rain and thunder and lightning will strike everyday starting in the afternoons and the temps will drop from the high 100’s to the 70’s in a second. After Mid-September the temps will drop and be in the 40-70’s range with lots of non-monsoon rain coming and going at periods at a time. Tucson can get as cold as 10 during the winter nights and as hot as 113 during the summer.
