What is treatment of deep wound infection ?
hi millian a deep wound be packed wih sterile gauze and changed every 8 hours, 1st concern is what color is it, pink red black green yellow strings of white, then saline to clean it, some doctors suggest betadine, others suggest another solution, to rotate the cleansing it must be kept dry and clean most important,,, i took care of someone that had several we used peroxide at one time this was in persons home… but depending on where it is, what its from what cleansing agents the doctor wants ou to use for the condition,,, so see a doctor first get your solutions stick with the plan of treatment, and change it as prescribed… and it does go away stay off of it , not too much pressure or it would drain… unless doctor says movement in the area for a cetain amount of time is o’kay…
