What is Treasure Mapping?
Treasure Mapping is the process of creating a photo collage which includes images and words that express your goals and desires. This type of collage can also be referred to as a Vision Board, Story Board or a Dream Board. In Creative Visualization, Shakti Gawain writes that, You can make a treasure map by drawing or painting it, or by making a collage using pictures and words cut from magazines, books or cards, photographs, drawings, and so on. Shakti explains that, A treasure map is an actual, physical picture of your desired reality. Basically the treasure map should show you in your ideal scene, with your goal fully realized. While creating a Treasure Map can assist you in manifesting desires of your personality (usually material items), Treasure Mapping is also a great way to explore the desires of your soul. Thru your intention, Treasure Mapping can call forth desires that live deep within your heart, desires that are waiting to be remembered or even awakened for the first time.
