As soon as a Juvenile in conflict with law is apprehended by Police he / she shall be placed under the charge of the Juvenile Police Unit created for the purpose, or the designated Police officer, who shall immediately report the matter to a member of the Juvenile Justice Board. Further action will be taken on the directions of the Board. Officer/ In-charge of Police station, after arrest of a Juvenile shall inform the parents or guardians of the Juvenile and direct them to be present at the board.
