What is titans in greek mythology?
The Titans were the children of Gaea, the Earth, and Uranus, the Sky. They had six sons and six daughters. The sons were Cronus, Hyperion, Iapet, Crios, Oceanus, and Coeus. The daughters were Rhea, Themis, Thia, Phoebe, Tethys, and Mnemosyne. The titans married the titanesses, their sisters. Cronus was the youngest son, and he married Rhea. He led the rebellion against their father Uranus, because he had imprisoned Gaea’s other children, the Cyclopses and the Hundred-Handed Ones, and Cronus became the new king.
