Timestamp is a protocol which disallows netsplit ops and channel desynchs. EFnet has implemented TS5, which makes it impossible for any user (Oper or “normal user”) to “hack” ops in a channel via a server split. For more information on TS5, see https://voting.blackened.com/docs/ts5.txt.
