Cessna 152 Plane Lands on NJ Turnpike Plane lands on NJ Turnpike Small plane this morning safely landed on NJ Turnpike about five miles east of Philadelphia. It was a Cessna 152 plane and all the passengers are safe and unhurt. According to AP the plane was used by KYW-TV and KYW Radio to provide traffic information. The safe landing happened in Cherry Hill, Monday morning. The plane is not damaged and neither the pilot nor the traffic reporter are injured. No one is injured on the ground either. KYW Radio earlier reported that it was not immediately clear the cause of the emergency landing. However, Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Arlene Salac said the landing was precautionary because of a low oil pressure indicator. CBS3 also reports that the pilot said the plane suddenly lost the oil pressure. KYW radio says the pilot of the plane that landed on NJ Turnpike was Frank Bove. Bravo to Mr. Bove for making another courageous and Sully style landing and saving people’s lives.
