What is this measuring tool used for? ?
I’ve seen that tool used mostly for measuring weed (pot). You clip the baggie on and hold the scale by the ring and read out the weight. Before you come down too hard on your grandfather, most of the scales I have seen for measuring pot are calibrated to one ounce and fractions of an ounce whereas your scale goes to 4 ounces (a bit much for the average pothead).
