what is this Harry Potter When do the new postage rates take effect in the US?
The new postage rates will not affect Harry Potter. As the rates are for US Mail and Harry Potter uses Owls to deliver the mail. So it wont affect him or those in his world. As far as teh US Postage rates, they keep going up and up, but the service never gets better. They keep making more and more $$$ each year, but its not enough. I guess part of that is they have a Monopoly on the service, and the US Justice dept lets it slide because its a federal agency and it seems does not need to compy with the Anti Monopoly laws taht are established to protect and save the citizens of the great USA. Somedays I wish I coudl use an Owl or Eagle for sending mail, it would save a ton of $$$. Thanks and Happy Holidays. PS Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Movie comes out in July 2009.
