What is this 20th year anniversary reunion tour thing?
This was an idea that has been thrown about by Robert and the rest of the band in interviews. It started out as an idea to get all of the old band members (in good standing) together and play a tour where each night featured songs from a different album. Then the idea changed into “a few shows in Europe and the US”. Currently, the plans are unknown. It is important to note that the tone that was used in interviews was: “it would be nice if…”. There have never been any definite plans made, and like everything else The Cure does, it will be based mostly on how they feel about it right now, and not based on things they said in interviews a year before.
