Exchange Server supports various SSL Certificates issued by the different vendors. But your phone may not have all the root certificates installed on the device. As of now, only a few vendors like Verisign are supported. The BREW phones do not allow you to install root certificates, as is the case with Windows Mobile phones. Failure to find a root certificate results in RemoSync displaying Error 1295. Accepting the Third Party SSL Certificate overcomes this drawback by passing the SSL requirement.
