What is there to see and do at Newstead House?
Newstead House is a two-storied residence in the Colonial Georgian style of architecture. Internally it is furnished in the manner of the boom late Victorian period while downstairs is recreated to capture something of the original 1846 cottage. A visit to Newstead House is a History lesson come to Life! Group guided tours are encouraged and can be linked with creative refreshment packages. There are regular Sunday concerts and traditional Devonshire Teas and Theme days; details of which can be found in the local press.
