What is there to do in Punta Gorda Florida, any attractions?
Babcock Wilderness Adventures has some great tours and they are located in Punta Gorda. They have a 1 1/2 hour tour of their ranch which has many interesting animals to see, including cracker cattle, horses, cougars, birds, bison, and wild pigs. The wild pigs come up to the driver and the driver feeds them. You’ll learn plenty about Florida’s wildlife on the tour. Here is a link to the tour. Sometimes they have a farmer’s market and craft shows. Sarasota isn’t too far from Punta Gorda, so you’ll have even more to do there. I stayed in Sarasota and drove to Punta Gorda for the tour. Make sure to visit Sarasota Jungle Gardens if you’re in Sarasota. They have excellent bird and repitle shows. I was able to hold an alligator after the show. I was also a
