What is there to do in Marbella?
Hi, Madrid is about 2.5 hours on the fast train, 5 on the slow…. Barcelona is quite a long way away – about 1 hour flight from Malaga or probably 8 hours drive at least. To go to Morocco from Marbella you would drive to Algerciras (might have spelt that wrong) and take the ferry – its reasonably priced and doesnt take too long. if you went to a website like andalucia.com you would probably be able to find out info easily. On the drive between Marbella and Algerciras (past Gibraltar) there are lots of huts in laybys selling ferry tickets. There is a water park in Fuengirola, safari park in Estepona, aqua museum in Benalmadena… A lovely day out would be to drive to Nerja (about an hour East from Marbella) as theres lots to see and do there – Caves etc…. Frigilliana (just up the road from Nerja… Marbella Old Town for a coffee in Orange Square and a wander around the cobbled streets….
