What is there to do at Lake of the Woods?
Few lakes anywhere can match the Lake of the Woods for size. A houseboat could be occupied for years exploring island after island and mile after mile of shoreline. You can step off onto the shore and be completely alone, save for the wildcats and beavers – or one of the hundreds of bald eagles in the immediate area. On the water, beyond houseboating, you may want to try a sailboat against the gentle winds of the lake. Motorboating and water-skiing on this almost unthinkably large expanse of water is an awe-inspiring experience and the fishing is nothing short of legendary.
