What is there inside the earth near inner core?
Well the Outer Core surround the inner core. It’s liquid whereas the Inner Core is solid but they are theoretically made from the same materials. The inner core is kept solid through extreme pressure and gravity. The core should be made from a pure Iron and Nickel alloy going by current scientific theory.
It is liquid iron and nickel primarily and is the same as the same elements as the inner core. The inner core is solidifying as it cools slowly over time. It takes a very long time because the natural insulating properties of miles of rock and because of radioactive isotopes decaying. As the liquid outer core cools, it forms convection currents which generate our magnetic field.
