What is the Young Leaders Society? As current and emerging leaders in our community, Young Leaders Society members enjoy educational, service, social and networking opportunities throughout the year. Founded in September 2000, YLS consists of more than 1,000 young business and community leaders who value the importance of philanthropy and support the work of United Way Capital Area in addressing the whole spectrum of health and human service issues in our community.How can I join the Young Leaders Society? Individuals or couples 45 and under who invest a combined annual gift of $1,000 or more in the community through United Way are invited to become members of YLS.
