What is the Yolo County Children’s Health Initiative (Yolo CHI)?
The Yolo CHI is a broad-based coalition of public and private partners formed to facilitate access to health care for all children in our county. To meet this goal, Yolo CHI incorporates several major program commitments, including that: Every child in Yolo County should have medical insurance and access to quality health care. All parents will have access to information on the appropriate use of benefits and health care systems. Through an extensive outreach and enrollment program, Yolo CHI creates “one-stop-shopping” for families seeking health coverage for their children.
