What is the YJB doing to help all relevant groups understand the Scaled Approach?

0

The YJB is in regular meetings with government representatives, the Sentencing Guidelines Council, and the Judicial Studies Board to ensure consistency between sentencing provisions and the Scaled Approach, and that this is reflected in the guidelines and training that will arise out of them. Additionally, the YJB is running working groups for YOT and secure estate practitioners to ensure our guidance is fit for purpose and will help practitioners work effectively with the changed processes.
