The license cost is $100 – $500, depending on your level of use. To understand the new pricing schedule, it is important to first understand the following license terminology: • Provisioning File – a license file that you receive via email from GeoPlan. This file contains the registration codes necessary to run ESRI software and specifies the number of seats allowed under this license. • Seat – the number of individual concurrent users that a keycode serves. For example, if your department opts for the Level 3 license, you would receive one license file (provisioning file), which allows up to 3 individuals (or seats) to use ESRI software. • Contact – point person from a department that will disseminate licensing information, receive keycodes, and help users from the department with licenses.
