WHAT IS THE YACHT DAMAGE WAIVER?

0

A Yacht Damage Waiver may be purchased in advance for a $50.00 per day fee; which significantly lowers the amount of security deposit to $2,000.00. This covers damages to the charter yacht’s hull and equipment, excluding loss or theft of the yacht’s dinghy and outboard. This coverage also excludes cases of gross negligence and willful misuse; intoxication; towing fees due to running aground; loss of equipment; pollution and environmental damage; and third party liability claims. Day charters do not have to post a security deposit and pay the Yacht Damage Waiver.
