Y2 is a personnel system ASI denoting a soldier in transition. In this case, personnel converted all 91Bs and Cs to 68WY2s on 1 Oct 01 IAW the NOFC. As the soldiers meet the transition requirements personnel removes the Y2 ASI. During the transition period soldiers with a Y2 ASI remain fully MOS qualified.
