What is the wound temperature, under the Drawtex® dressing?
Our success rate with wound healing would indicate that Drawtex® maintains a temperature close to the body’s optimal healing temperature of 36C. Note: Drawtex® has the ability to retain heat. Cells and enzymes function optimally at body temperature. Dressing changes may drop the wound temperature for up to 4 hours before it returns to normal, only then can wound healing start.
