Okay, I’m pretty tolerant of kids shows. I have to be with a 2 year old and a 4 year old. Heck, I even like some of them. Frankly, I can totally zone out to the Teletubbies. Transformers, with the exception of the new version, pretty much rocks. Let’s go old school with He Man or She Ra. I’m cool with that. Even a little nostalgic Sesame Street can leave me ready to Sing, Sing out Loud. The one, and only one show I have seen so far that makes me feel a combination of motion sickness, hysteria, psychosis, and apoplexy is Yo Gabba Gabba. I can’t handle it. The minute that toothy guy with the fuzzy hat or some of the basement derived sacharin creatures pop up, I fight a near uncontrollable urge to pop out of my skin, turn it inside out and use it to flog the TV until the horrible, inane, incessantly chattering creatures vaporize into a cloud of buttermilk mist.
