What is the worlds most powerfull sniper rifle?
Hi The navy has the most powerful sniper rifles. They are mounted on ships, and are so powerful that the shooters of the rifles usually don’t even directly see the targets. A friend of mine was in the Marines during Vietnam. He once needed a sniper shot that his guys could not make. He called his base for support fire, gave the coordinates, and was told that one round was on the way. He responded, only one round, and was told, wait. A few seconds later, his target disappeared in a large puff of smoke. The round that had be fired at his target came from the New Jersey, and was one of the high explosive sixteen inch shells. The shot had been fired from eighteen miles away and fell within three feet of where my friend wanted it to go. Much better accuracy than what can be gotten out of a silly little 50 cal. The current 50 cal rifles that are being used by snipers are reasonably powerful, but there are far more powerful and accurate guns available. Remember, a rifle only becomes a sniper
