What is the workload like for Health Education 202?
Health Education 202 (HE 202) is an integrated 3.0 unit lecture class that meets the Health Requirement for graduation at Cuesta College. The course content and health outcomes are the same for students registered in a traditional classroom section of HE 202. As expected of any integrated 3.0 unit lecture course at Cuesta College, plan on at least 6-8 hours minimum of work per week ( i.e., Two hours out-of-class prep for each unit of instruction per week) to complete assignments and weekly homework. There is a health literature analysis term paper involving the critique of a medical journal research article, a one day diet diary and diet analysis, food label analysis activity, spiritual fitness plan, and other short report type formal assignments. HE 202 Distance Learning requires a moderate amount of reading and Internet research assignments.
