What is the workload for the animation classes?
Typically an animation student will spend a minimum of 20 hours a week on their assignments. However we must conform to a standard with-in the UH system. Because many students at UH work part-time, commute, etc., we plan our assignments at 10 hours a week (two classes per semester). An ambitious student will find time to achieve quality in their work. Ninety percent of our assignments will contribute to your final demo reel. The demo reel is used to apply for jobs with-in the animation industry, and the better the demo reel, the better the job.
