Like any career in the medical and health sectors, physician assistant jobs have a very diverse work environment. The workplace can be fast paced sometimes and slow at other times. Generally, however, as an assistant or stand-in for many physicians’ tasks, you will have to adapt to a very varied environment that is constantly changing. Thus flexibility and the ability to work odd hours when needed is something that you will have to get used to or accept.
