The Wisconsin Clearinghouse was established in August of 1994. As a member of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) the Wisconsin Clearinghouses objective is to assist families and law enforcement agencies in the search, recovery, and reunification of missing and exploited children and adults. Also, the Clearinghouse works collaboratively with clearinghouses nationwide, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Forces, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children to provide agencies with the resources and services necessary to assist missing and exploited children and adult cases, and in cases involving child pornography, child enticement, and other incidents of child exploitation on the Internet. Any missing child and adult are potentially in danger.
