The El Dorado Hills Firefighters’ Association puts on an annual Wine, Cheese and Brew Festival in September. Community support enables the Association to give back to the community by providing emergency medical equipment, supporting the Volunteer Firefighter Program, the School Prevention Program, high school/college scholarship programs, sponsoring youth activities, the Every 15 Minutes Program, Bike Safety Rodeos, our annual Santa Run and more. The Association is happy to announce that a portion of the 2009 proceeds were donated to the Deputy Jeff Mitchell Field Foundation. Proceeds also made possible the renovation of the Fire Safety House, a mobile classroom that tours our schools teaching children how to react in the event of an emergency.
