The Windows Azure Marketplace is an online marketplace for developers to share, find, buy and sell building block components, training, service templates, premium data sets and finished services/applications needed to build complete and compelling Windows Azure platform applications. Initially, the Windows Azure marketplace will have two separate landing environments: An Applications etc. section that includes finished applications, service templates and building block components; and a DataMarket section that contains premium data sets. In the future, Microsoft will combine both these marketplaces.
