What is the Westmorland Youth Orchestra?
The Westmorland Youth Orchestra is an orchestra of about 50 young people from the South Lakeland area. When do the WYO rehearse? Every Friday evening in term-time between 7.00pm and 9.30pm in the Castle Street Centre in Kendal.If you would like to come and watch a rehearsal we sometimes arrange open rehearsals or you could come along another evening by arrangement. Rehearsals lead towards termly public concert at venues throughout the area. This service is welcoming to disabled people.
