What is the Western Undergraduate Exchange Program (WUE)?
The Western Undergraduate Exchange is a program though which students from a participating state may enroll in other participating state institutions and programs at a special, reduced tuition level. This is usually in-state fees plus 50 % of that amount. 2007-08 Participating WUE States are: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. All applicants from WUE states will be considered for scholarships under the WUE program at the University of Idaho. Students in every major who meet the minimum requirements will automatically qualify for the award. The minimum requirements for high school students are a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and an ACT composite of 20 or SAT combined score of 950.
