What is the Webct management system?
The Webct management system is the management system that will be used for this workshop. To get to this first, you first go to: http://webct.gcccd.net Your login name will be your your first name and last name all in lower case and no spaces and your password will be your birthday. For example, May 4, 1988 would be 050488. This system utilizes a global ID, but that global ID has been created for you. So you merely need to get into the system with your login name and password. Make sure that you link to Logon to my Webct course. You do not need to create id and password that has been done for you. The Webct system on the opening page includes the various links that we will use for this class. Many possible links and tools are available, but we will only use the content area for weekly lectures ,readings , and links, the bulletin board area for discussion, the calendar for important dates, the internal e-mail area , the assignment drop box and the syllabus for the class outline.
