What is the weather usually like in Seattle?
Take no notice of what people say about raining a lot in Seattle.in fact, other US cities get more rain than Seattle.it’s just a very light rain that comes and go and makes the streets and the city look wet,but the truth is that it’s not always rainy here, but wet.that’s how I describe the city’s weather; wet,not rainy.
July to October has great weather. You’re chances of have a nice day are better. From October through March, it is dreary. Overcast, gray, mild rain. Last winter we went through I think 30 days of rain. HOWEVER, it was not a constant rain. It was just 30 days of rain/sprinkles/showers/drizzle appearing. I think Seattle might have as many words for rain as the Eskimos do for snow. No matter what time of year, you will need a jacket/sweater in the evening/night. It doesn’t matter if it was 80 that day, it cools off in the evening. There are a few rare days where it is warm at night, but do not count on it. Oh, and if you come to Seattle and it is raining, everyone will know you’re a tourist if you use an umbrella. Weird, I know, but we don’t use umbrellas here. Maybe we’re just so used to the drizzle.
