Vancouver has one of the mildest climates in Canada and the warmest average temperatures of any Winter Olympic host city. During the summer, the temperature ranges from the low 20s Celsius (high 70’s Fahrenheit) to between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius (mid-40’s Fahrenheit) during the winter. The winters are wet, but it rarely snows (the exception being in the mountains). In February (the month of the Games) Vancouvers average temperature is 5.9 degrees Celsius (42.6 degrees Fahrenheit).
