What is the weather normally like the day of the Parade — January 1?
After the Christmas holiday you should be watching the national weather channel on your television no matter where you’re coming from. Studies have shown that it only seems to rain on “The Big Day” (Jan. 1) once in 7 or 8 years. Due to the crisp winter weather, we suggest our parade attendees wear layered clothes, along with good walking shoes. As the day warms up, you can begin peeling off your outer layers of clothes.
