What is the weather like on the coast of Oregon or Washington?
Sounds like it’s a good fit for you. You have to know that by saying, “Oregon or Washington coast,” you are covering a large amount of territory with many types of terrain. There is rainforest on the Olympic Penninsula in Washington, where it doesn’t get any greener. But, it’s a rainforest, not really a coastal resort. You have touristy areas in Oregon, like Seaside and Newport. You have more remote areas on the Southern Oregon coast and Southern Washington coast. In the peak of summer, you’ll have temperatures hit the high 70s/low 80s on the coast, but these days are rare. For the most part, you are looking at mid-60s, even when it’s warm inland. As for stars, you’ll probably have more cloud cover than not, but there are still clear nights at times. The coast does stay pretty cloudy, whereas inland the clouds come and go more frequently.
