What is the weather like in the spring, summer, fall and winter?
Because we are an Island, we usually do have cooler springs due to ocean breezes. The colors in Spring, however, are breathtaking. The red of the freshly tilled soil blazes against the dozens of green colors (more than Ireland we are told). The vividness cannot really be described by word or camera. Summer is just like you remember summer as a child. The days are moderately hot (mid 80oF is hot for PEI), the wind is usually blowing, wild flowers are everywhere and the ocean is -oh, so so blue! The nights magically cool down when God turns on His natural air-conditioning breezes from the ocean. Fall has been created on PEI by the Best of Artists. Add the red & orange leaves of the Maples, to the yellow leaves of the Birches, to the amber grasses of the Dunes to the red, red soil and the blue, blue sea and this is Autumn on our Island.
