What is the weather like in the South Chilcotin Mountains?
Our camp is located on the border between the Chilcotin Mountains and the Coast Mountains. This area is unique because it falls in a rain shadow so it receives very little precipitation throughout the summer. The temperature is substantially cooler in the early morning and evening, so make sure you bring a warm layer that you can put on once the camp looses the sun. The middle of the day is a great time to go for a swim right in front of the camp.
