What is the weather like in Paris in May?
During the month of May the weather can vary greatly. It can range from mid 40’s to 70’s. There is always a strong possibility of rain in May. I would suggest checking the weather online before packing and leaving. Do the hotel rooms have air-conditioning? Many hotels in Paris, though not all, have air conditioning. More often than not, the hotels have a ‘universal’ heating/cooling system, i.e. they do not provide for individual control over whether you have heat or air in your room the hotel’s system is changed appropriately at the change of seasons. Individual rooms do almost always have thermostats which control each room’s temperature. Hopefully, the weather in May will either be cool enough to not need air conditioning, or warm enough that the hotels will have no choice but to switch their systems to air conditioning!
