What is the weather like in Greece?
The summers are hot and dry with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees during the month of August. The winter months are usually rainy and cool with high temperatures in the 40’s. In our part of the city, we rarely see snow; however, in the mountains surrounding the Athens metro area, in central, and in northern Greece, it is common to have snow a few times each winter. The weather in the Spring and Fall is beautiful with daily high temperatures ranging between 60-80 degrees with very little humidity. It is said that Greece has approximately 300 sunny days a year.
