What is the weather like at Telunas Beach?
Just one degree from the equator, Telunas Beach is a tropical environment. While we don’t have the typical dry and rainy seasons, it is generally warm and a bit humid with the chance that some showers could visit us any day. The unique structure of the facilities over the water allows for a natural cooling effect. The seasons are broken down into four: North Wind, South Wind, West Wind and East Wind. • North Wind: (Jan-Mar) Usually the days are clear, but warmer because there is less wind. Because of this, the water is the clearest during this season. • East Wind: (Mar-Jun) There tends to be a breeze and clear water. • South Wind: (Jun-Aug) It is rainier and constantly windy, which brings bigger waves. The water tends to be murky, but at times the water is clear. • West Wind: (Sept-Jan) This season occasionally brings strong winds, clear water and rain.
